Biography

Maxwell Augustus AULICH was born on 29th July 1929 in Northcote, Victoria

His parents were Edwin Augustus AULICH and Doris Helene PORTER who were both from Tasmania

He joined the 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment on 30th November 1952 - Service No. 3400759

Maxwell died from gunshot wounds to the head & left arm on 21st June 1953  in Korea - he was first buried at Tanggok Cemetery and later  moved to United Nationas Memorial Cemetery, Busan, Korea
