Lancelot Cedric HASLOPE was born on 1st October, 1923 in St. Leonards in Tasmania
His parents were ( Reverend) Lancelot Melvill HASLOPE and Annie Elizabeth BUDDEN
They had married in 1916 in South Stoneham, Hampshire, UK
His father Lancelot had died in 1946 in Launceston, Tasmania & his mother Annie Elizabeth died in 1972 in Queensland
Lancelot died on 5th August, 1952 from a fractured skull in an aircraft accident in Area 14 - Korea aged 28 years
He was with the 77 Fighter Squadron RAAF - he has also served in WW2 (428073) where he enlisted on 9th October 1942 in Hobart and was discharged on 10th April, 1946 with the 466 Squadron and he also served with the CMF
