Alexander Livingstone ANDERSON was born on 28th March, 1916 in Coatbridge, Scotland

His parents were Thomas Dunsmore ANDERSON & Elizabeth MAIN of Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia - they married on 23rd December, 1914 in Coatbridge, Scotland

His father had been a Corporal in the 10th Battalion of the Gordon Highlanders
