Wallace Wadsworth ASHWORTH was born in Sydney on 22nd July, 1910

His parents were Edrick ASHWORTH & Alice ARMSTRONG who married in Kelso,  NSW on 7th January 1902

He married Rita Brenda DONOVAN in Sydney in 1930 - two children, Valerie & Geoffrey

He enlisted in Paddington, Sydney with the Army on 18th July, 1940 and served with the Army Labour Service, 8 Employment Company

Wallace died in Sydney Hospital on 12th October, 1940 following an accident between his motor cycle & a car in Darlinghurst, Sydney and was cremated at Eastern Suburbs Crematorium
