Plane was a Wellington X3700. 150 Squadron (RAF)
28 April 1942 was reported missing after operations against Cologne. Reports say that the plane was one of two planes that were seen to go down in flames over the target but were not positively identifed. The planes encountered heavy anti aircraft fire and had active search lights
