William Morgan BARBOUR was born on 26th July 1922 in Chinchilla, Queensland
His parents were Walter Colin BARBOUR and Phyllis Irene MORGAN
He had previous service from Aug. 1940 to Aug. 1941 as a Corporal in the 15th Battalion - he enlisted with the Royal Australian Air Force on 14th September 1941
He died in a Flying Battle on 6th July 1944 off the Frisian Islands - Island of Juist, Normandy and is listed in the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey, England - He was a Flying Officer with the 455 Squadron
