Jack Weston BARNWELL was born on 31st October 1924 in Eastwood, Sydney

His parents were Harrie Weston BARNWELL and Ada Bertha MEREDITH

He enlisted in Sydney on 5th December 1942 with the Australian Air Force and was a Leading Aircraftman with the 5 Service Flying Training School

He died in an accident during training at Uranquinty NSW in a Wirraway A20 -150 He was laid to rest with full Air Force Honours and  buried in Wagga Wagga War Cemetery &  commemorated on the Australian War Memorial and the Roll of Honour in Eastwood,
