Frederick Markwell BARRYMORE was born in Peppermint Grove, Western Australia on 2nd September, 1908

His parents were Frederick William BARRYMORE & Cora Henrietta MARKWELL who married in Queensland on 14th March, 1893

He married Katherine Esme BARRY in Perth, WA in 1941

Frederick died as a Prisoner of War from Malaria on 21st December, 1943 and is buried in the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery

His name is memorialised on the POW Memorial in Ballarat, Victoria, the Roll of Honour in Perth & the Australian War Memorial
