His parents were William Read Conyngam BEESTON & Audrey Alice Caroline MacFADDEN

His Father William Read Conyngam BEESTON was a Doctor and obtained the rank of Captain during WW1 - returned to Australia in 1919
He also served during WW2 (N164228) as a Captain with the 6th Battalion, Volunteer Defence Force & was discharged in 1943
Two of his brothers also served during WW2
