LAC Berndt 426773 and LAC Hempenstall 426590 from 5EFTS were the pilots of Tiger Moth aircraft A17-113 & A17-472 which were involved in a mid-air collision approximately 3 miles north east of Narromine Aerodrome in NSW - both men were killed, no other crew onboard.
