Eric Luther Royal BILLING was born in Port Pirie, SA on 22nd December, 1904
His parents were John William BILLING & Annie LILLYWHITE
He married Agnes Linda BRETAG on 3rd November, 1924 in Pallamana, South Australia
He enlisted in Adelaide on 10th June 1940 & served with the 2nd/48th Infantry Battalion - last rank was Private with the 2/1 Guard Regiment
He was discharged on 11th June 1946 and died from Illness (Malignant Melanoma) in the Springbank Hospital on 16th February, 1947 & is buried in Centennial Park Cemetery
