Maxwell Royden BOSSWARD was born in Devonport, Tasmania on 15th March, 1919
His parents were Samuel Royden BOSSWARD & Florence Maud POOLE
He first enlisted on 8th May, 1939 and served for 3 and a half years with the Australian Army Medical Corp, 1 year with the AAMC (P) and also the AIO before enlisting for war service on 15th January, 1941
He died of illness whilst a prisoner of war in Thailand on 26th December, 1943
