Flying Officer Bothwell 695 in Tomahawk AM398 of 3SQN was killed when his aircraft was hit by ground fire and crashed while attacking a column of German tanks heading east through Allied lines near Sidi Omar (a book by Bobby Gibbes states that Roy Bothwell flew straight into a tank)
He has an entry in the book "Those Other Eagles" by Christopher Shores
