Anthony George Stewart BRUNSKILL was born in Wagga Wagga, NSW on 17th March, 1925
His parents were George Constant BRUNSKILL & Enid Elizabeth STEWART who married in Wagga Wagga in 1922
He had previously served as a Cadet Corporal when he attended the Scots College in Bellevue Hill in Sydney and was also a Cadet in the ATC, 25 Squadron in Mosman, Sydney before he enlisted in the RAAF on 22nd May, 1943
He embarked from Sydney on 18th May, 1944 for the UK

His Father George Constant BRUNSKILL (SN 1193) served in the Veterinary Corps during WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919
