Pte. Alex S. Buchan Killed in Action
Mrs. M. A. Buchan, of Lismore, late of South Grafton, has been notified that her son, Pte. Alexander S. Buchan, was killed in action in the Middle East on October 31. Born at Grafton, Pte. Buchan was 25 years of age and was the youngest son of Mrs. Buchan and the late Graham Buchan. Besides his mother, he leaves three sisters and three brothers. – The Daily Examiner, Grafton, issue dated Tuesday November 17, 1942.
