Son of William BUCKLAND and Emily Phyliss nee O'KEEFE

Flight Sergeant John Buckland was an Air Gunner and a member of the crew of a No. 207 Squadron Royal Air Force Lancaster Bomber LM 436 was lost on air operations on the night of 30th/31st March 1944. The aircraft took off at 22.11 hours from Royal Air Force Station, Spilsby, Lincolnshire, for a bombing raid on Nuremberg, Germany.
