Neville Albert Herbert BUFFETT waas born on 25th September, 1912 in Auckland, New Zealand

His parents were George Hunn Nobbs BUFFETT & Amelia Gladys O'BRIEN

He married Eunice Elizabeth JONES in Sydney in 1942

He first enlisted in the CMF (SN N212849) on 21st May, 1941 and was discharged on 3rd December, 1941 - Rank Signalman - SIGS 1 Division

He re-enlisted on 3rd Dcember, 1941 in Paddington, Sydney with the 2nd 20th Infantry Battalion 

Neville was taken a Prisoner of War by the Japanese on the fall of Singapore and died of Illness in the No. 4 Tokyo Camp, Japan on 8th January, 1944 - he is buried in the Yokahama War Cemetery (see Bio link for further information)
