Ernest also served in WW1 from 1916 returning to Australia on the 1 August 1919 on board Arglleshire

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal.

He served also in WWII with A.C.M.F. 11th Garrison Battalion under Service Number N69418- Australian Infantry.

He was accepted, after research, for commemoration as war dead on 15/09/2011
