NAVAL OFFICER KILLED
BRISBANE, June 9.

When his bicycle collided with a motor truck in Eagle Farm-road, Meeandal, last night, Lieut. Ormond Clifford Burgess, R.A.N.V.R. (45), married, of Pinkenba was fatally injured. He was dead when ambulance bearers arrived.
