Parents: - Thomas Carroll and Emma Schmidt married 28th August 1917 in Brisbane, of Paddington, Queensland.

Joseph stated his birth date on the Attestation papers as 22nd November 1922, Queensland Births, Deaths and Marriages states born 3rd November 1923, Registration Details, 1923/B/81882.

Parents: - Thomas Carroll and Emma Schmidt married 28th August 1917 in Brisbane, of Paddington, Queensland.

Joseph stated his birth date on the Attestation papers as 22nd November 1922, Queensland Births, Deaths and Marriages states born 3rd November 1923, Registration Details, 1923/B/81882.
