Sydney Francis CHAUMONT was born in Tibooburra, NSW on 19th June 1923
His parents were Eugene August CHAUMONT & Florence McCLURE who married in NSW in 1908 (registered in White Cliffs)
He enlisted in Brisbane on 8th June 1943 and died of Illness in Concord on 9th April, 1945 - he is buried in the Sydney War Cemetery, Rookwood, Sydney

His brother Clarence Cecil CHAUMONT (SN NX85319) also served during WW2 and was discharged on 4th September, 1945
