Merton Mark CIDDOR was born in Manchester, England on 14th April, 1919
His parents were Samuel CIDDOR & Clara GOLDMAN who married in England in 1916
He served in Egypt, Libya, Greece, Crete & New Guinea and was promoted to Lieutenant on 4th February, 1943 two days before his death
Merton died of wounds in New Guinea on 6th February, 1943 and is buried in the Lae War Cemetery
