MAN KILLED IN
TRUCK COLLISION
Patrick Leo Bernard Clancy, 45, married, of Coburg, Victoria, was killed when two trucks came into collision on Day's Creek bridge, near Beaudesert, on Saturday night. Six other men were injured. They now are progressing satisfactorily in hospital. The injured were travelling in the one truck when the accident occurred. They were : Colin Graham Gunthorpe, of Oxley, fractured skull; Edward Blank, of Darra, injury to left leg. Both were admitted to Brisbane General Hospital. William McLucas, of Darra, injury to arm; Patrick Bernard Leveger, of Oxley, concussion; Robert Henry Ferguson, of Corinda, injury to left ankle; William George Poyfer, of Oxley, injury to face. The
four men were admitted to Beaudesert Hospital.
