Grahame Hilton CLOTHIER was born in Queanbeyan, NSW on 29th April, 1922
His parents were Hilton Arthur CLOTHIER & Sylvia PAYNE
He enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force on 21st June, 1941
Grahame was killed in a Training Accident over Doncaster in England on 27th September, 1942 and is buried in the Doncaster (Rose Hill) Cemetery

His father Hilton Arthur CLOTHIER served during WW1 with the 9th Field Company Engineers - returned to Australia in 1919
Two of his brothers also served during WW2
1. Geoffrey Thomas CLOTHIER (S7375) Army - 9th Infantry Training Battalion - discharged 18.9.1942)
He then re-enlisted (N319522) in the Royal Australian Navy where he was a Cook - discharged 16th August, 1946
2. Raphael Corrie CLOTHIER (20871) Royal Australian Air Force - 2 Personnel Depot - discharged 19th December, 1945
