Frank Rene Malyon COOK was born in Armadale, Victoria on 8th September, 1922
His parents were John Malyon COOK & Jean McQUIE who married in Victoria in 1921
He enlisted in Melbourne on 21st June, 1941 with the RAAF
Frank died in a Flying Battle in the Netherlands on 29th August, 1944 and is buried in the Lemsterland (Lemmer) War Cemetery

His twin brother Clive Malyon COOK (SN VX71072) served in the Army during WW2 and was discharged on 2nd July, 1946
Another brother Anthony James Malyon COOK (SN 430341) served in the RAAF during WW2 and was discharged on 31st Jauary, 1946 (Flight Lieutenant)
His Father John Malyon COOK (SN 204) served during WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919 - he was awarded a Military Medal
His Mother Jean was mentioned in a newspaper article as serving in the Navy in Sydney but no record can be found of her service
