Crow, Cambuslang, 36 Monomeath, avenue. Canterbury, devoted son of James and Agnes, dearly loved brother of Archie (A.I.F.) and Margaret, and loving brotherin-law. of Audrey, grandson of , the Rev. Thomas Brown. MA.
CROW - In .cherished and everlasting memory of Russell, killed in aircraft accident, much loved and loving nephew of Barbara Young, and loving cousin of Nancy Robertson, aged 21 years -Sweet memories.

Son of James and Agnes Hamilton Crow of Canterbury, Victoria
Flying Officer Crow was the pilot of Kittyhawk aircraft A29-80 of Number 2 Operational Training Unit which crashed into a large dead tree while performing a low level flying exercise 20 miles west of Mildura
Kittyhawk A29-80 previously served with 76 SQN and participated in the battle for Milne Bay, in September 1942 it was flown by Sergeant Loudon on a mission to attack Japanese shipping off Normanby Island
In May 1943 the aircraft ground looped on landing after a training flight wrecking the undercarriage and damaging the port wing, engine cowling and airscrew - following repairs it was allocated to 2 OTU
