Allan Jack DAVENPORT was born on 5th March, 1920 at Euroa, Victoria
His parents were Jack Halse DAVENPORT & Irene Myra JUPP who married at the Holy Trinity Church in Oakleigh Victoria on 9th October, 1919
Before enlistment on 15th August, 1941 Allan had previously served for 2 years with the 15th Field Brigade Militia
He died on 5th October, 1942 - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Roll of Honour in Caulfield, Victoria
