Harrold Fosbery Consett DAVIS was born in Sydney on 23rd June 1913

His parents were Harold Consett DAVIS & Mabel Lucy FOSBERY

He married Dorothy Gwenda Louise RODWAY in Sydney on 21st August 1936

He first enlisted in the Citizens Air Force in 1935  (no Service Number ) and was discharged as a Pilot Officer on 25th October, 1940 (Unit HQCA)

He then enlisted in the Army on 3rd December, 1941 and was discharged on 1st May, 1944

His final enlistment was with the Army where he enlisted on 26th June 1944 - last rank was Lieutenant with the 1 Australian Army Tropical Research

Harrold died of severe head injuries in a plane crash in New Guinea on 11th December, 1944 and is buried in the Lae War Cemetery

His father Harrold Consett DAVIS (SN 1191) served during WW1 in the 1st Camel Brigade and returned to Australia on 15th February, 1918
