Add my storyBiography contributed by Graham Padget
Flight Sergeant Edgar Bruce Edwards was the son of Bruce Charles Theodore and Sarah Elizabeth Edwards, of Piesseville Wagin, Western Australia.
Fsgt Edwards was the Wireless Operator Air Gunner on a 42 Squadron Catalina A24-365 which was on a non-operational flight between Melville Bay and Manila in the Philippines to collect Prisoners of War. The aircraft is believed to have stalled and crashed at about 0300 hours during manoeuvring for landing.
