Record merged with 3844 PTE George Erwin Faddy 18th Battalion AIF.   Cross referencing WW2 service record with WW2 noninal roll extract revealed same Place of birth, and age (by extrapolation on WW1 record).  The middle name Edwin is assumed to be a typo in the WW2 nominal Roll extract becasue his WW1 attestation papers written in his own hand reveal middle name 'Erwin'
