Lindsay Samuel FAIRCLOUGH was born in Southern Cross, Western Australia on 15th July, 1923

His parents were Samuel Herbert FAIRCLOUGH & Margaret Edna WILSON

He enlisted as Air Crew in the RAAF on 12th October, 1941 and was promoted to Pilot Officer on 14th December, 1943

Lindsay died in a Flying Battle at Luttgendosse in Germany on 30th January, 1944 whilst in a Lancaster ED545 and is buried in the Berlin War Cemetery

                EVER REMEMBERED"

His brother George Herbert FAIRCLOUGH (SN 441895) also served in the RAAF during WW2 and was discharged on 17th April, 1946
