Frank Desmond FINDLATER was born in North Sydney, NSW on 17th January, 1912
His parents were Leslie Arthur Frank FINDLATER & Edith Muriel HILTON who married in Sydney in 1911
He married Molly Lorraine Margaret JOB n St Thomas Church in North Sydney on 26th December, 1940
He previously served in the Royal Australian Naval Reserve before enlisting in the RAAF during WW2

His brother Captain James Hilton FINDLATER (SN NX292351) served in the Australian Army as a Medical Officer and was discharged on 3rd October, 1946 (2/3 Field Regiment) AAMC
