Other Known Heroes
S.O. Artificer Gordon Lindsay Findlay, only son of Mr. Alex. Findlay, foreman at the Sunshine Harvester Works, and Mrs Findlay, was a member of the crew of the ill-fated Sydney.
Prior to his enlistment he resided with his parents at Vine Street, Moonee Ponds. He had been employed in Sunshine, and his recreations were rugby and and wrestling. Deep sympathy was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. Findlay during the week by their many Sunshine friends.
