Noel Eugene Wales FORREST was born in Brisbane on 22nd July, 1911
His parents were David Connor FORREST & Alice Emily WALES
He married Linda Ena JOHNSON on 7th June, 1935 in St Johns Cathedral, Brisbane and she died tragically from illness 6 days later - he remarried on 8th March, 1943 to Mavis Lorraine SMITH
Noel died of wounds in New Guinea on 10th September, 1943 and is buried in the Lae Cemetery
