6 April 1941 - embarked in the Middle East for service in Greece.

29 May 1941 - AWOL fined 5/-

20 August 1941 - charged with using indecent langauge to a superior officer and striking a superior officer. Sentence suspended

9 August 1943 - Embarked at Cairns  for Milne Bay
