Flying Officer Gee 413980 was admitted to Number 112 AGH BMU (Australian General Hospital - Brisbane Military Unit at Greenslopes Hospital) on 25 December 1945 following a Motor Vehicle Accident on Ipswich Road, Annerley at 0300 (note date - Christmas eve / day). He died later that day from the injuries he received including fractures and shock.
RAAF Vehicle 212595 turned over killing Frank Easthope of the Royal Navy outright (L/FX98561 H.M.S. Nabsford). Flying Officer David Brenden Brennan 411001 RAAF was also injured; he served until March 1962 (FLTLT O21991)
