"...404416 AC1 Walter George MacDonald (Wally) Geikie. AC1 Geikie was remustered to air crew and trained as an air gunner. In January 1944, Sergeant Geikie was transferred to 463 Squadron RAAF, and was a crew member aboard an aircraft Lancaster serial number LM 223 which was lost on operations on 23 September 1944." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
