Flying Officer Giddy 715 in Kittyhawk AK830 of 3SQN was killed when an aircraft hatch door came open when doing an upward roll and he crashed shortly after take-off from Gambut Main airfield in Libya - he has an entry in the book "Aces High" by Christopher Shores
