Leonard Burtham HABERECHT was born in Henty, NSW on 28th June 1922
His parents were Alfred Leonard HABERECHT & Caroline Beatrice HEATHCOTE
He married Babette Josephine HUGHES on 25th July 1942 in Sydney
Leonard died accidentally during Flying Operations while piloting an HX805 Mosquito Aircraft over Swindon in Wiltshire, England and is buried in the Haycombe Cemetery in Bath, Somerset -
He was with the 60 Operational Training Units at High Ercall (RAF Intruders Ace Squadron)
Inscription on his headstone reads:
'TO LIVE IN HEARTS WE LEAVE BEHIND IS NOT TO DIE'
