Able-Seaman John Hannaford 29, of Quebec street. Port Adelaide, had been in the R.A.N.R. eight years before the outbreak of war. He was in the Manoora before his transfer to the cruiser Perth late last year. He is the third son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Hannaford. His yougest brother, William, is in the Navy. William was at Dunkirk. Greece.
and Crete.
A.B. Hannaford was a keen footballer. He played with Riverside Club for several years, and was adjudged the best player in 1936.
