Flying Instructor at Narrandera
Flight-Sgt Kenneth E. Hepburn, who was killed in an aircraft accident at Mildura on December 14, was the younger son of Mr and Mrs E. A. Hepburn, of Heidelberg. Educated at Doncaster State School and Scotch College, he had completed first year engineering at Melbourne University when he enlisted in the RAAF on his 18th birthday. After gaining his wings he was (Spencer Shier) Flight-Sergeant K. E. Hepburn for nine months a flying instructor at Narrandera before being posted to operational training.
