Sad news was conveyed to Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Hilton In a telegram received from the Air Board, Melbourne, concerning the fate of their son, P/O Raymond William Hilton: . 'Deeply regret to inform you that advice has been received from a German source, through the International Red Cross Committee, Geneva, that your son, 413195, Pilot-Officer Raymond William Hilton, died in hospital, at Neurippin Hospital, Germany, on 18th February, presumably as a result of his wounds.'
