BELIEVED DEAD
The parents of Flight-Sergeant W. G. Hogg have been officially advised that their son, who was reported missing on April 10, 1944, is now believed to have lost his life. This information has come from the International Red Cross at Geneva, which ' states that, according to an official German casualty list, the Whole crew of nine lost their lives when a Lancaster bomber, in which Flight-Sergeant Hogg was mid-gunner, crashed in France and are buried at Nord, Maubeuge, France. Flight-Sergeant Hogg was in his 20th year and was the only son of Mr and Mrs W. G. Hogg, of Greenmount (Q.), and grandson of Mr and Mrs Charles Morley, Tweed Heads.
