Final Flight

Lancaster NF 907 of 626 Sqn RAF took off from RAF Station Wickenby, Lincolnshire at 1735 hours on 18 February 1945 to carry out a mining operation over the target “Rosemary” in the Kattegat area.
Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and it did not return to base. No trace of the aircraft was ever found.
