Add my storyBiography contributed by Max Jones
At the time of his death, David was married to Florence Mary Reylin and they lived in New South Wales. They had one son but he died four days after birth. It was while Florence (Florrie) was pregnant with their second child, that David was killed on the HMAS Sydney. Florrie named her son David James Jones, who grew up in Sydney, married, and had four sons.
