Aircraftman Edward Matthew Kennedy 69041 of Townsville RAAF Wireless / Telegraph Station
Allegations were made by his wife that member died due to negligence by medical staff at Bradfield Park hospital in Sydney who would not treat him prior to him leaving on posting to Townsville. Member was admitted to hospital in Townsville 15 October 1942 with abdominal pain and was diagnosed as having a perforated peptic ulcer. He was operated on but did not recover and passed away 22 October 1942
