Flying Officer Brandon Boyce Kersey 410811 was killed when his aircraft - Cessna Crane 8665 - collided with Cessna Crane 7777 being flown by Pilot Officer Glen William Monks J/23318 RCAF (of Oakmont, Pennsylvania) in mid-air.
The aircraft from Number 10 Service Flying Training School RCAF collided seven miles south west of the aerodrome at Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada while being tested for night flying operations.
