Lyn Geoffrey Reginald KNIGHT was born in Launceston, Tasmania on 21st March, 1915
His parents were Evelyn Vernon Knight & Ina Beresford MARTIN who married in Tasmania in 1910
He married Elizabeth (Betty) Ada GARROTT on 7th December, 1938 in Tasmania
He died of injuries in an aircraft accident in Deniliquin, NSW on 2nd February, 1943 and is buried in the Deniliquin War Cemetery

4 of his brothers also served during WW2 including Donald Erskine KNIGHT (2752) who died in Libya on 13th December, 1941 (RAAF)
