Pilot Officer Clifford C.P. Logan, who is also missing was at the College from 1925 to 1931. He was one of three brothers who were College pupils during a period of ten years and in 1940 two of them, Keith and Clifford and a younger brother Douglas, joined the R.A.A.F. After a period of training in Australia, the three brothers went their various ways overseas and eventually reached the United Kingdom. In June last year they met at the Boomerang Club in London. On the 15th of that month their friends in Australia were thrilled to hear them broadcasting in the B.B.C. programme of 'Anzacs calling home' . At that time Clifford was suffering from a fractured foot, the result of a third crash landing after a dog fight with the enemy. In October last year his name appeard in the casualty list as missing in air operations over Germany. The worst may have happened but it is impossible to say devinitely. While baling out is possible, and as airman are now turning up months after their disappearance we cling to the hoe taht Clifford some day may be found safe and well.
