Add my storyBiography
Henry was a 'remittance' man with a small payment from his English family as long as he did not contact them. In 1916, aged 35, he left a wife and four young children in Queensland when he enlisted. On his return to Australia in 1920 two more children were born. He was much scarred by war, both physical and mentally but reared 6 children on his own, mostly in Queensland and died on 04 Nov 1958 aged 77.
